Jennifer & Anthony love being on the water and so much leisure time is spent on Anthony’s SeaCraft boat. Naturally a boating e-session was in order and what better time to take romantic photos is there than sunrise? Luckily Sara and Jason of Concept Photography were around to document their love and the photos came out beautifully (as always). Here’s Sara with a few words about the shoot:
Florida summer weather can be less than accommodating at times, but it can also be AMAZING if you just roll with it like Jenn + Anthony did. We think they are awesome, and we are looking forward to celebrating their wedding with them this October at Casa Feliz!
Jennifer is a Digital Marketing Director at Disney Parks & Resorts and Anthony is a Project Manager at Clancy & Theys Construction Company. The twosome love boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, being on the water, trying fun and adventurous new things, cooking Sunday night dinners, skiing and snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family. As for their love story, the lovely Jennifer tells it best. 
Even though we only lived 3.84 miles away from each other, our paths never crossed until we met on Match.com back in June of 2012. While we’re still waiting for our TV commercial, we couldn’t be happier to have found each other through the modern world of online dating. Being somewhat traditional, Jenn tended to sit back and wait for guys to make the first “move.” But on one fateful, rainy weeknight, Jenn saw Anthony’s profile and his love for boating, outdoor adventure and Dragonfly Sushi and just couldn’t help but reach out right away (after some Chardonnay courage.) Since she found it very strange when she would receive long, drawn-out life stories from other guys in their very first emails, she kept it short and sweet and wrote: “I like Dragonfly Sushi, too. Jenn” Intrigued by the girl that didn’t say anything more than that, Anthony asked Jenn out for a first date.
We met at Wildside BBQ and talked until the restaurant’s closing time. Anthony invited Jenn (and Jackson!) for a moonlit walk around Lake Eola after dinner and walked her home. Overwhelmed by the wonderful night full of great conversation with a such a handsome dude in boat shoes, Jenn got nervous and very quickly hugged him goodbye and ran into the house for the night. Anthony calls it “getting the door slammed in his face” and was very surprised when Jenn accepted his request the next day for another date. Sparks flew during their Fourth of July second date with a night filled with fireworks, sparklers and their first kiss.
And the rest is history. A few boat rides, a scandalous hospital stay and countless moments of love and laughter later – we’re getting married!

We love being on the water and spending time on Anthony’s boat so we knew we wanted some casual pictures out on Anthony’s Seacraft. We were literally up at sunrise to meet Sara and Jason on Lake Conway for some sunrise boat pictures and couldn’t be happier to finally have some great photos together doing what we love to do together. As far as the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, our absolutely favorite place to go together is Disappearing Island which is across the street from the lighthouse. Our favorite day would be getting up, grabbing some sandwiches from Publix, driving out to Ponce Inlet and putting the boat in for a day of frisbee, splashing around, relaxing and time with friends on Disappearing Island. So when we were thinking about where we’d want some “nice clothes” engagement pictures in addition to the boat pictures, the lighthouse came to mind as being in an area that’s super special and “everyday” to us versus a random but beautiful place.
